Today is Friday. See, here's the thing. I don't like Friday. People seem to think that Friday is the best day of the week because it's the beginning of the weekend. That doesn't make sense to me. On Friday, you still have to go to work/school, you still have to get up early, and it's gonna be an even later night, so you get less time to yourself. Screw Friday, I just want Saturday. Mind you, I'm working Saturday, so it doesn't really make a difference to me.

But I am very thankful because this weekend is American Thanksgiving, to which I say, ha ha (Canadians celebrate Thanksgiving in October).

So, I dedicate this thanksgiving message to my American viewers.

It's 8:30, I'm in class, and I'm half asleep. But I have a few things I wanna share. Please excuse my grammar and the 'choppiness' of text. My brain isn't completely on yet.

First things first, funny vid.
I just found this. Basically a lady doing her version of a lot of Internet memes. ^_^ Your welcome.

Okay, so the second thing I wanna share will be hysterical to my Canadian readers, but the rest of you may need a bit of background.

For those of you who don't know, in Canada, November 11th is Remembrance day. Basically its a day in our country devoted to remembering our fallen soldiers, past and present. (yes, Canadians do fight in wars). As a symbol of our mourning and pride, we wear pins that look like poppies. These pins are available in most malls in Canada. The proceeds of the poppies go to our veterans.

So yesterday, veterans gathered in downtown Toronto to count poppy money, when some guy came in and tried to rob them at gun point. And and an 84 year old vet took care of him.

Epic win.

And last, yesterday I was browsing around the web and I found an old video that I love. A couple years ago, Broadway was blessed with a wacky, controversial musical, Avenue Q. It's hilarious. This is one of the best numbers from the musical.

Hey everyone. This morning I wanted to take an opportunity to fill you guys in on what's going on with my life and this blog.

Over the past 6 months my life has been crazy (my parents have both been sick), so spare time is something that I have to schedule. Unfortunately that means that blog time can be cut short. I've taken the past week to relax, and now I'm back and ready to post full force again. ^_^

I'm also really happy to announce that I will no longer be working with Google Adsense, as they are ridiculously greedy and can't believe that is is possible for someone to make over $2.00 in their first month of blogging. I also will be looking at moving this blog to another host site. But I have happily joined with Bidvertiser.com for the lovely ads you see on the side of this page. Feel free to check them out! I'm so excited to be working with them.

Okay! So something I wanna make very clear regarding the advertisements on my site. I DO NOT BLOG FOR MONEY . I've blogged for years, and this is the first time I am trying out working with advertisers to see what it is like. Any money I make blogging will be reinvesting into blogging. I have a lot of ideas I would love to do with this page, and money isn't necessary, but it would help.

Hey everybody, I'm so sorry I haven't posted in a while, but unfortunately life can sometimes take over. I'm in school right now, and between 6 classes, a part time job, volunteer work and my family life I've had to do some juggling over the past couple weeks. Luckily, I have a week off next week and things should return to normal.

So most of you have probably seen this clip before. It came out last week and it's been on a zillion websites.

I watched it again today, in full, and noticed something. Most people only played the clip of the elderly guy taking out the bank robber (which is awesome! I wanna be like him when I'm older), but the whole clip wasn't posted because the end part isn't really important, but I find it strangely amusing.

At about 0:23, a lady walks over to where the man took out the robber. She seems a little shocked, and proceeds to casually walk over, and kick the robber! Like, if you watch it couple times, it gets hilarious. Its seriously the girlyest kick I've ever seen.

And you can see how slowly she is walking towards him, because in the time it takes her to take 3 steps at 0:24 secs, one of the other guys in the back runs from the other side of the room to where the robber is.

I wanna make a remix of it, it's just too funny. It sounds like an awesome Parry Gripp song idea.

Okay, so I have no idea if any of you guys know this, but I love Jeff Dunham. Love him. I think he is an absolute genius.

For those of you who don't know, Jeff is a ventriloquist. But don't let that put you off. He is amazing. He's taken ventriloquism to the next level of sophistication and comedy. He has many character, some are completely off the wall new creations, and others make fun of stereotypes. Either way, there's something for everybody.

So now that I've gone on and on about how amazing he is, I should probably show you a clip.
To give you some perspective, this video has been watched 95 million times. 95 MILLION!

Yesterday I walked out to my car, to see one of the worst parking jobs I've ever seen.
My car is the silver one, parked perfectly in the lines.

So. I'm still sick. Still! But thankfully I think Buckley's has taken the edge off, but even Buckley's can't cure my daily dose of stupid. My inner tree hugger is screaming at me.

So today I'm in the library, about to print the handout for a presentation I have to give tomorrow. So I press print, and it begins. But stupid me didn't realize that my publisher document was 4 pages instead of 1. So now I have 140 sheets of paper, and only 35 I actually need. The other 105 are in my backpack. I think I'm gonna take them home and use them to print something. I feel bad throwing them into recycling when they haven't even been used.

Hey everybody. I'm sick. I have alot of homework. And I'm at work. And answering phones which really doesn't help my sore throat. But it's okay. I'm lucky to have a job, to be in school, and at 9:00 I'll be heading home to my bed. ^_^

In the mean time I'm laughing at myself. When I'm sick my body does weird things, my eyes play tricks on me, my typing sucks, etc. For example, I opened up my homepage at work and was reading the headlines. This is what I actually read:

The Frog Princess

I wanted to share something that kept me laughing all weekend. I hope I'll be able to do a bigger post tonight, but school is a little crazy right now, and I'm sick. So, all of my time needs to go to my homework and sleep (and the House season primiere tonight!!! YEAH!)

So my friends and I went up north this weekend. For the way, I made one of my trademark mixes, with hardcore guitars and funny songs. I put the audio of this video on the mix. One of my friends loved it, and was quoting it all weekend. I think you guys might light it.

Worst Pickup Attempt, EVER.

So I’m gonna do a "story post". I don’t think I’ve ever done this before, so I hope it’s okay. But this is just two weird and too funny to resist. It’s long, but it’s worth it, especially for my ladies.

So this morning, I woke up feeling sick. I have a really bad sore throat and my nose is a little runny. As well as feeling like crap, I look like crap today. I literally just threw my hair up in a pony tail, grabbed a band tee, shorts, and ran out the door. I probably look really hungover. But I have no one to impress at school so I really don’t care.

My sister and I go to the same school so most days we drive in together and leave together. In the time we have between our classes, we study. This morning is one of those mornings. She has class from 10 to 1, and I have class from 3 to 6. So, in the mean time I do homework with minimal distraction. It works out well, and I rarely have homework I have to do at home. ^_^

So this morning after seeing my sister to class, I went to the ‘quiet study area’. So I’m working for about ten minutes, a guy walks up to me and asks if he can leave his stuff on my table for a couple minutes (I assume he had to go to the bathroom or something and didn’t wanna take all his stuff with him). So I said “no problem” and he left. I went back to my work.

Next thing I know, he’s back. He sits down and starts to work.

There are like, 15 empty tables and he sits at mine.

I don’t know how to explain this, and I hope I’m not a horrible person for it, but I get really uncomfortable sitting with someone I don’t know. Even at the movies. I have sociaphobia so that probably has something to do with it. But regardless, I like to think it’s common sense to leave someone hard at work ALONE.

I wanted to get up and leave, but I didn’t. I thought, maybe he’s lonely... maybe he just moved here and doesn’t know anyone. I decided to be nice, and stay in my seat, but I kept working.

After a couple minutes he started talking to me, so I took out my headphones and humoured him. He told me he was taking accounting because he wanted to be rich and own a yacht, but he said it like he was inviting me to his imaginary yacht. I said, “That’s nice.”

He asked me what program I was in. I told him I was talking courses so I could work in doctors’ offices and hospitals. He then showed me his wrist with a hospital band on it, and told me he had been hit by a car. A Nissan, and he had an MRI.

I asked him if he was okay. He said “yes”. I said “good”. I went back to work.

Next thing I know I hear him complain about his ‘massive’ text book. Mine is bigger. He tried to make it sound like his was bigger. I put my head back down.

In a couple minutes, I looked up to rest my eyes from reading my text book. And that’s when things got weird. He had rolled up his t-shirt sleeves and was flexing his biceps staring at me. I instinctively wanted to barf/ laugh my head off, but I restrained myself. Not only was the whole thing pathetic, but his bicep had a tattoo of a tree with a carved face on it. It kinda looked like this.

I looked back down, and tried to focus on my work. After a while he stopped staring and went back to reading his ‘massive’ text book.

My laptop battery started dying, I was ecstatic. My way out! I needed to find a plug! I put my stuff in my bag. As I was packing up, he said “I take boxing”, while still flexing. I said “Cool.”

Then he put the nail in the coffin. Looking at me he said, “I wish I had a punching bag.”

I looked at him for a second. Was he high? Was that a perverted innuendo, or just a really pathetic attempt to start a conversation so I wouldn’t leave? Did he want me to be a punching bag? It kinda reminded me of that episode of friends when Ross tries to prove he can flirt by hitting on the pizza delivery girl, and ends up talking to her about gas.

I said, “I have to meet my sister.” I started walking away. I heard him say, “You have a sister!?! Me too!!!”

I kept walking. I’m never going to the ‘quiet study area’ again.

So for the past two days all people have been talking about is Kanye West, which is fine by me, I hope it eats away at his ego. He's such a jerk, or in the words of P!nk, "a toolbox."

The one thing I love about our generation is that we don't let things go until we beat it to death, and beating of Kanye West is officially underway.

I hope you guys can laugh at these, some of them may be offensive to some people, but please look at them with a humourous perspective.
